The Brazilian Journal of Forensic Sciences - BJFS, linked to the Instituto Paulista de Estudos Bioéticos e Judídicos - IPEBJ, in the city of Ribeirão Preto, in the state of São Paulo, Brazil, is a non-profit electronic scientific journal that publishes Original Articles, Brief Communications, Case Reports, Editorials, Proceedings and Reviews related to the field of Forensic Sciences, Medical Law and Bioethics.
The term forensics is used to identify a growing group of specialties with concepts and methods based on cellular, anatomical, biochemical, physical, technological, ethical and legal knowledge based on scientific admissible-in-court evidences.
